“Awesome concept and we’re glad we finally got to experience The Grounds - was perfect for a date night! An open air cinema is great during the cooler weather in the city, but to be honest, the prices for the seating and pods were quite expensive, and that’s before the food and drinks if you buy at the venue as you’re not allowed to bring your own. While it’s cool there’s Messina for dessert on site, popcorn, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and plenty more food options from Basehall, these are also really pricey. We ordered from Meen Noodles in Basehall and while it was delicious, the delivery was quite slow. Staff on site however were very friendly and accommodating, made sure everyone was comfortable, but the movie started later than we expected. That being said, it’s still a great experience… but prepare to pay a little more than usual.”

“The venue is fantastic & the views are incredible. My one issue is the enormous amount of waste that came with our food orders from basehall. Each food item we ordered came at a separate time and in SEPARATE bags even though the food came from the exact same place/restaurant. The order should have come in 2 bag max! Really disappointed to see how much unnecessary waste basehall/the grounds is producing & I hope this is something they take into consideration going forward.”

“Outdoors movie is a wonderful idea and experience except when you - 1. Are told the experience is an outdoor experience despite rain. It poured SO heavily and we were totally soaked and the chairs were so uncomfortable to sit on because it was pouring nonstop and so wet. They should really offer a full credit (not just 50% off to be used within two weeks) so patrons can have a makeup for a proper enjoyable experience. 1. See how much waste there is from rain (they handed out so many disposable plastic ponchos in plastic wrapping). There is also so much waste from ordering the food (I've given feedback on this for many years in a row now and there has been no change) - why not deliver food on a tray instead of disposable bags?? We are living in seriously scary times with climate change and companies really need to be eco-conscious now!”
