Professional surfskate instruction for ages 5 and up at Hong Kong skateparks and waterfront promenades. Instructor Buddy teaches carving, pumping, bottom turns and cut-backs. Boards and protective pads provided.
It was my first time ever to ride on the surfskate board. It was really a great experience on 1:2 with the instructor Buddy!! The Surfskate lessons provide an exhilarating experience that replicates the feeling of surfing on land. We learn to carve, pump and generate speed using a specially-designed skateboard. Also Buddy showed the patience on teaching is balancing technique, "left and right"movements and a connection with the board are crucial. At the end of the lesson, we summarised all we learnt during the day and planned what to practice and what to learn next. We look forwards to the next lesson soon. Thanks Buddy and Tio!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for children aged 8 and up and teens who want to learn a board sport with direct surf application. The 1:2 lesson format works well for siblings or friends at a similar level. Younger children aged 5–7 can participate and progress more slowly.

“I had my first surfskating lesson here, and when I stepped on the board for the first time, the board was so unstable that I could not ride. The coach is very nice and patient, after his teaching and my practice, I could ride kind of short straight line with balance! He also observed and helped adjust my board to make it more stable. Then he taught me how to turn and regain speed. I had wonderful afternoon and I enjoy this sport!”

Sessions run at various outdoor locations including piers and waterfront promenades.
