1 / 4The Rink
📍 Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon
Compact indoor ice rink in Tsim Sha Tsui using per-minute Octopus Card billing with skate rental included in the tap-in fee, plus public sessions, skating lessons, ice hockey, and an on-site restaurant.
Its really fun there's staff to help out and they provide ice skates to you 😀
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families wanting a flexible, short ice skating session without committing to a fixed hourly block. The per-minute model suits first-timers and young children who tire quickly. Families with non-skating parents should know each adult needs their own Octopus Card to enter the viewing area — plan and load cards accordingly before arrival.

“What I really like is that we don’t need to commit hourly. Simply tap in and tap out anytime so it is pro-rated per minute on how long you are in the arena. It is very suitable for everyone who wants to do as short as 15 mins/30 mins only. There’s a flat HK$20 fee when you enter the gate, fee include the shoes but not including the locker (20 hkd additional all day). Very worth it. I came back more than 3 times already!”

“It is an ice rink. Very packed from time to time. Also fun experience. The price is cost by minutes: Example: $1.1/per minute. Which is quite expensive regarding other ice rinks in HK.”

“This is a decent rink. The surprise we had was that we could not share an Octopus card for entry into the viewing/skate rental area. So even if you are not skating, you still need a separate card from your child. Staff member on duty was not at all helpful or kind in explaining this to us or offering any suggestions on how to solve this problem.”

Overview
The Rink operates on a per-minute billing model via Octopus Card — tap in, skate, tap out — making it the only Hong Kong rink suited to short visits of 15 to 30 minutes. Ice skate rental is included in the entry fee. A flat access charge applies on entry. Public sessions run alongside scheduled ice hockey use, which closes the rink to general skating — check the timetable before travelling. Skating lessons are available for beginners and children.
