This is a very nice museum. The museum introduced the food cultures of different countries from the past to the present. There are more than 1,000 exhibits from all around the world were displayed. It is wonderful that we can touch and handle most of them. It is so interesting. I highly recommended to visit this museum and enjoy a lunch at Tao Heung Restaurant.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for children aged 5 and above who engage through touching and handling rather than reading panels. The open-hands policy on most artifacts sets this apart from standard museums. A weekday Tuesday visit avoids the busiest periods. Pair the museum with lunch at the on-site restaurant to make the Fo Tan trip worthwhile.

âWe joined as members and enjoyed the private room service. Menus are custom-made, seasonal and all are delicacies. Liked the mandarin-skin Pier tea which has a unique flavour. Down side is insufficient parking space.â

âThe food was great! Roasted goose, candied sweet and sour pork with dragon fruit on ice, super fresh (i.e., a live king crab brought to the table first) steamed king crab and a dessert called "Yang Zhi Nectar" (æĨæįé˛), which involved grapefruit, mangoes, tapioca, and coconut milk/cream. Yummy! Bit noisy environment, but they did have a booster seat for the kids.â
