The Climbing Park is very spacious and comfortable to climb. Fun for individual and group climb for all ages. There are variety of courses and different levels for beginners and professionals. Rental gears are available for rental if you do not have your own.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 7 and up who want a structured introduction to climbing with professional instruction. The beginner courses are the entry point for first-timers — book in advance. Bouldering regulars should factor in the separate pass structure before visiting.

Very nice and friendly place. I just don't like that you need an additional fee to do both lead and boulder, but maybe is the standard in HK (idk)

Really nice gym!! My bf and I bought the day pass for the bouldering area, and it was pretty pricey but it seems like it's the average price when compared to other gyms in Hong Kong. For the bouldering pass, you have access to the bouldering walls and the competition walls. We were a bit worried that we might have not enough to climb because the area is quite small BUT we ended up spending 4 hours there just bouldering. From what we saw, there were V1s to V6s. We climbed up to projecting V5s. The routes are quite technical, and they introduced some complex moves even during the V2/3s, which was really nice. We really enjoyed the competition wall as well, very nice routes, happy that we managed to send majority of them between the two of us ! The staff were very friendly and helped us with the betas too. I think the only downside is that we didn't have access to the kilter board with just the bouldering day pass.

Overview

Hong Kong Climbing Park is one of the more spacious climbing venues in the territory, offering auto belay, top rope, lead climbing, and bouldering across a well-equipped floor. Kids experience courses introduce climbing basics and safety to first-timers. Rental gear covers shoes and harnesses. A separate day pass is required for bouldering and lead climbing — they are not bundled — which adds cost for climbers wanting access to both. Staff and instructors are friendly.
