1 / 5Pok Fu Lam Road Playground
đ Sandy Bay Gap, Hong Kong Island
Free outdoor playground on Pok Fu Lam Road with a 5-a-side pitch, basketball courts, and recently updated paths. Roadside parking available. Ankle-biting insects present year-round.
A very quiet playground on the side of the road. Has a big playground for sports like basketball. Has lot of plants inside. There is also few meter parking if you drive up there. Brings back memories when I was a kid used to go there with grandmom and family. Has been renovated to a different layout playground. Still like the old playground that I used to play batminton with my cousins... missed my grandmom much.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for school-age kids and teens who want a proper sports session â the 5-a-side pitch and basketball courts are the main draw. Younger children have open green space to roam. Families driving will find roadside parking directly outside. Skip it if toddler-specific equipment is the priority.

âThe government have recently redone the paths and updated some of the park. The park is simple but lovely. There are many little insects flying around that will bite your ankles so bring a spray or wear trousers.â

âSo more about this pitch is that it's a 5 a side pitch. Very easy to reach by bus 970/970x as the pitch is just on the roadside and you can't miss the pitch even while you're still on the bus. Has a toilet facilities, good lights and even drinking fountains. A perfect place to train your touches, stamina or play with your teammates or friends. 5/5â

âQuite a good environment, the public toilet is very dirty, the lighting is a bit strange in some angle, overall the basketball court is in good conditionâ
