Take action to support Hong Kong economy and local film market
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families already in Tsim Sha Tsui who want a comfortable, modern screen experience without travelling far. First-time visitors should allow extra navigation time to locate the correct floor for their house. The vertical layout is manageable with children who can use escalators independently — less practical with prams.

“Super comfortable seats, clean, and well maintained. The only downside is that each house is located on a separate floor. You need to take a lift or escalator to access. The screen size is a little bit too small but that's understandable due to its location. I'd give 5/5 if the screen is bigger.”

“For first time visitor it may be confusing to find the ticket office (6th floor) and respective showing house (from 6th to 10th floors). Quite unique and common in Hong Kong as many things are vertically developed (I.e. skyscrapers city). Escalators and elevators may not get to direct floor where you want to go, so for first timers make sure you give yourself enough time to orient yourself to use the theatre facility. Once inside it's a modern theatre with comfy chairs and great sound.”

“Good cinema but the mall it is in is kind of hard to navigate. The men's and women's bathrooms are on separate floors and quite far away from each other for some reason.”

Overview
MCL The ONE stacks its screening houses vertically from floor 6 to floor 10 inside The ONE mall, Tsim Sha Tsui. The ticket office is on floor 6 and each cinema house occupies its own separate floor — first-time visitors consistently report confusion navigating between them. Escalators and lifts do not always serve every floor directly. Seating is comfortable and sound quality is strong. Screen sizes are modest given the vertical format.
