1 / 5Hong Kong Park
๐ Central, Hong Kong Island
8-hectare park in Central featuring children's playground, Edward Youde Aviary, Forsgate Conservatory, artificial lake and gardens.
Hong Kong Park is one of the nicest green spaces on Hong Kong Island and a great place to escape the city for a while. Sitting right in the middle of Central and Admiralty, itโs surrounded by tall buildings, but once you step inside the park it feels surprisingly calm. A lot of the park has been updated over the years, and it looks very different from what it used to be in the past. The paths, gardens, and water features are well maintained and the whole area feels clean and refreshed. Itโs a great place to walk around, sit for a bit, or just slow down after being in the busy city. One of the highlights is the small zoo area, which is free and fun to walk through. Youโll see birds, turtles, and other animals, and it adds something extra to the park that many people donโt expect. Another great stop inside the park is the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware, a historic building that now serves as a tea museum. Itโs interesting to walk through and learn about the history of tea culture, and the tea house nearby is a nice place to relax after exploring the park. Overall Hong Kong Park is a must visit if youโre on the island. Itโs a great balance of nature, history, and quiet space right in the middle of the city.
๐ Family Action Verdict
Perfect urban park for families seeking nature activities and educational experiences in the heart of Hong Kong.

โโโญโญโญโญโญ A stunning green oasis amidst the skyscrapers! โHong Kong Park is an absolute highlight and the perfect place to escape the city's hustle and bustle for a while. The location is incredibly central and super easy to reach. โI particularly enjoyed the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware. It is a beautiful historic building with a wonderful atmosphere and very interesting exhibitions regarding tea culture. โThe contrast between the lush nature inside the park and the modern skyline in the background is simply impressive. Whether for a relaxing walk or a visit to the tea museumโthis park is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!โ

โHong Kong Park is spectacular with so many beautiful things to see. It is very well designed and immaculately maintained and presented. Within the Park there are many things to do but there are ponds, an aviary, wonderful gardens, restaurants, a plant conservatory and much much more. We were staying at The Murray Hotel and was very fortunate to have this wonderful park within a 60 second walk of our hotel. So much to see, so much nature, so much peaceโฆ. What more could you want. Go to this park and spend time away from the wild side of the world.โ

โBeautiful park! Aviary was a highlight of the visit. However some parents should really teach their kids how to behave around animals because what do you mean I saw a small kid try to kick a bird that was resting on the walk and the father said absolutely nothing? Or another family where kids scared away the parrot sitting on a porch and parents did nothing? Respect animals, donโt touch or scare them on purpose.โ
