1 / 5Hin Tin Swimming Pool
📍 Tai Wai, New Territories
Indoor and outdoor public pool complex in Tai Wai with a 1.4–2.0m indoor lap pool, rare public jacuzzi, heated changing room passage in winter, and outdoor free-form pools with water slides open in summer.
Very spacious swimming pools with both indoor & outdoor facilities. The changing room is big, and the passage from the changing room to the pool is heated during winter time, which is a very nice gesture. There is also a fairly big jacuzzi which is rare to find at a public swimming pool. 👍
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 7 and above who swim confidently — indoor pool depth starts at 1.4m. Strongest appeal in summer when outdoor slides and free-form pools open. Lap-swimming parents get depth and space in the indoor pool as older children use the outdoor area. Winter visits work well thanks to the heated passage and jacuzzi.

“Public Swimming Pool Complex with great facilities for everyone. Indoor main pool is of nice depth (1.4-2.0m), great for lap swimming. In winter bring a large towel as it's a long walk to the indoor pool from the changing rooms. There's a large Jacuzzi for a nice, relaxing soak afterwards. The outdoor area is like a little water park with free-form pools and water slides. Open in summer months, it's great to bring the kids.”

Overview
Hin Tin Swimming Pool stands out among New Territories public pools for two features rarely found together: a large communal jacuzzi and a heated corridor connecting changing rooms to the indoor pool during winter months. The indoor main pool runs 1.4m to 2.0m in depth — well-suited for lap swimmers and confident older children. Come summer, the outdoor area opens with free-form leisure pools and water slides, functioning as a compact water park.
