1 / 3Campus Climbing
๐ Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon
Compact indoor climbing gym for ages 8+ with dynamic and static routes. Staff actively share beta with newcomers, and first-time visitors receive a discounted entry rate.
There was a group us who travelled from Australia for an outdoor climbing trip. We had a few days uncooperative weather and wanted a place to climb indoors. We found Campus and it was our saviour! Even though it isnโt a big space, they make do with what they have. The climbs were pretty accurate in grading and there was enough variance to satisfy everyone. As posted before, they ARE very dynamic. The people there were super friendly and full of beta for both Campus and climbs all over Hong Kong.
๐ Family Action Verdict
Best for kids aged 8+ who are new to climbing and want hands-on coaching in a low-pressure setting. The dynamic route focus suits energetic, agile children more than those expecting standard top-rope climbing. First-timer discount makes a trial visit low-commitment.

โGreat vibes - chill, helpful, friendly staff and climbers. Dyno and static climbs available. First timers get discount, so I tried out this gym. At first I was nervous about walking into a new environment, but it turned out to be fairly easy and accommodating to new comers. Highly recommend this place. I'll be back.โ

โThis place is great. Everything you need to get a really nice session in packed into a well thought out little space. Really cool gym.โ

โGreat gym, pretty small and without any serious overhangs, but routes are nice and tricky. Setting is definitely more dynamic but there are fun static routes available. Just wish theyโd stock some of their cool t-shirtsโฆโ

Overview
Campus Climbing packs serious variety into a thoughtfully designed small space โ reviewers from Australia used it as a training base during a week of bad weather and left impressed. Routes skew dynamic, making it distinct from more traditional gyms, with static options available for those who prefer them. Staff engage directly with climbers of all levels, working through sequences and offering encouragement. The welcoming atmosphere means nervous first-timers quickly feel at home.
