โExcellent place to bowl ๐ณ and throw darts ๐ฏ in. Itโs also large enough with other facilities like football pitch, swimming pool, on-screen car racing, etc. You can also buy bowling balls, shoes and other equipment here. However, itโs required membership. Ordinary member goes for $200 (HKD) per year, for which up to five people can participate in a bowling game. Itโs busy on weekends and public holidays with so much waiting time. Also, the tickets for these days are more expensive than on weekdays. Sometimes, there are timely discounts on weekdays when you come before 12pm and 3pm. Or play a number of games to get one game for free. If you donโt have a bowling shoe, youโll have to hire one at the centre, $15 (HKD) per person.โ

โThe historical club was privately operated, though the membership fee was very low. It provided many sports facilities as well as restaurants, cafes and bar. Since the area was large, there were swimming pools, bowling alley, golf driving range, parking lots, etc. Courses were offered for both adults and children at reasonable fees. The swimming course was particularly welcomed. All facilities were only for members, but part of them could be enjoyed by guests who were brought in by the members.โ

โHuge facility for Hong Kong island. Almost no wait on a busy Sunday afternoon. Plus bowling was a bargain. $40 per person / gameโ

Overview
The South China Athletic Association in Causeway Bay operates across two buildings, housing one of Hong Kong Island's most diverse sports facility sets under one membership. The bowling alley, swimming pool, golf driving range, badminton courts, snooker room, and dance studio are all accessible to members. Swimming courses for children are well-regarded, and bowling rates are competitive against standalone venues. Restaurants, cafรฉs, and a bar round out the facilities.
