1 / 5Siu Lek Yuen Road Playground
📍 Sha Tin, New Territories
Multi-facility public park alongside Shing Mun River in Sha Tin, featuring four floodlit tennis courts, 12 bowling greens, and a small relaxation garden. Multiple entrances require specific meeting-point coordination. Insects present.
I just move to Shatin as the rent is cheaper than the HK Island area. I take a walk this afternoon and this is a good place for relaxation. As you can see from my photos, there are many entrances for this park. If you need to meet someone there, you need to be very specific where to wait (which gate).
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for active families who want proper sports facilities rather than a traditional children's playground — the tennis courts and bowling greens are the headline attractions. The riverside garden suits a post-sport wind-down. Toddlers have sparse dedicated play equipment. Specify an entrance gate when arranging to meet others here.

“There are four tennis court along side a river. The environment is calm and gentle. The court is being well managed, clean. Each court is splitted by net, which let players concentrate their own game. The light is not that good, but the court floor was bright, that makes players feel bright at all. The staff's are nice.”
