clean smooth and great transitions. Heard locals don't like it because of enforcement of helmet use, so it's usually empty. I need my brain and head intact so I wear a helmet and all pads anyway. Deep pro bow is closed as perhaps need to negotiate with security if you have the level to ride it, but has some leaves and debris at the bottom.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with kids aged 10 and up who already have skateboarding or BMX experience. The small bowl suits progressing skaters; the large transition area and deep pro bowl are advanced terrain. Beginners aged 5–9 can use the flat areas with close adult supervision.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Bring your own helmet — sharing one between multiple riders is impractical and the park enforces helmet use at entry
The deep pro bowl may require negotiation with security staff to access — confirm skill level before attempting it
🎟️Visit on weekday afternoons when the park is at its quietest and staff are most attentive

Amazing skatepark, very quiet, great for beginners and more advanced skaters, a small bowl and also a huge transition area with plenty of features. The staff are very strict about wearing a helmet which is fair considering how quick the park is, but once you have one they are super friendly. benches inside with a water fountain. You can hire a helmet from the bike centre next to it for 50HKD for 2 hours with 100HKD deposit which you get back at the end. Will definitely come back here on my return next year!

Built for BMX. Very big features. Certain ramps odd angle and steep. Beginners should be careful. Need a helmet to enter. 3 of us had to share 1 helmet.

Overview

Po Kong Village Road Skatepark delivers serious terrain for skateboarders and BMX riders. The large transition area offers multiple features across different difficulty levels, as the small bowl suits grinding lines and the deep pro bowl challenges advanced riders. Helmet enforcement is strict — visitors without one are turned away — and staff become friendly and helpful once safety gear is confirmed.
