Hidden gem in the busy & crowded city. Small park yet have quite some features - water fall, comprehensive kids playground, spots about Chinese myth. Great to bring kids to spend an hour there.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 3–10 who engage with storytelling and want more than standard playground equipment. The Monkey King theming gives children a narrative to follow through the space.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Walk down the street to the nearby temple first — the park makes a natural second stop on the same outing
Bring water for the hiking trails, which are short and involve uneven terrain
🎟️Point children to the named landscape zones — Flame Mountain and Five Finger Mountain — to activate the Monkey King story as you explore

If you are an old man, this is the park for you! It has multiple work out areas and trails so I think this is perfect for morning work out. After that, the views there is amazing there. Highly recommended for you to go and visit there.

Overview

Fung Tak Park structures its entire landscape around the Monkey King narrative from Journey to the West. Named zones — Flame Mountain, Five Finger Mountain, Mountain of Blossoms and Fruits — give children a story framework as they move through the park. Artificial waterfalls provide a visual anchor throughout. The children's playground features a strong variety of equipment, complemented by adult workout stations along the trails. A nearby temple on the same street makes for a natural pairing.
