“i came to walk around to look at this famed playground. But i learned there is a long line here to get entry tickets when i got to the front door, so was disappointed and didnt have time to line up. Seems nice from the periphery. Edit: Came back early morning 9am and got in without a line, enjoyed the play with my boy 2Y, something for everyone. Like the variety and suitable for many ages, sand, mist, mounds, bounce, climbing, slide, height. Some extra shade would be nice, gets quite sunny.”

“This is a magnificent playground not only for junior kids but probably bigger ones. Can walk 2 to few minutes from the mall #1 and complex or some 5+ mins from the MTR station exit D. There isn’t any kiosk around, so grab a bite or drink in the mall prior to is suggested. It opens at 9a”

“The facilities are new and we'll kept but when we went a few of the attractions were closed and even though it's free there is a ticketing system that limits the occupants and limited to a set amount of time. Personally I didn't enjoy the experience because of this as well as how "guards" demand you to leave with little to none leniency when clearing the grounds. We practically needed to storm the play gyms to get the little one out, all while being cussed out under the guards breath. Most attractions are in the sun so be sure to wear sunblock and maybe an umbrella for shade. I'm usually a positive minded person when visiting new places but because of my experience I would think twice before going here again. The little one seemed to have more fun in the epic land that was newly opened in Kai Tak 2”

Overview
Playfield 5 is one of Hong Kong's most varied free playgrounds, drawing consistent praise for equipment quality and cleanliness — staff run scheduled cleaning intervals throughout the day. Play features span age groups from toddlers to 12-year-olds. A free ticketing system caps occupancy and sets a time limit per session; queues form on weekends and school holidays. No kiosks operate on-site. The playground sits a short walk from a nearby mall and around five minutes from the MTR.
