1 / 5MCL Metro City Cinema
📍 Metro City, New Territories
Multi-screen cinema in Metro City Phase II, New Territories, recently renovated with updated seating and a strong sound system. Directly connected to Po Lam MTR station. Parking on site. Some theatres have flat seating rows with sightline issues.
It was ver clean and screen had a good display. Near MTR and bus stop. But all the seats are almost on the same level.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families living near Po Lam who want a clean, convenient local cinema. Avoid Cinema 1 for families with children who may struggle with sightline issues. Check armrest configuration when booking adjacent seats for younger children who need to sit close.

“Seats at the end of the row made my neck and shoulders stiff viewing the screen. The venue feels clean though. Sound system was good.”

“A stone's throw away from po lam mtr station. Quite convenient and staff is also very polite. Great experience”

“Fairly recently renovated and so is much more comfortable than before. Seats are superb and the acoustics are... Well, loud. 😅. Just note that some seats have arm rests that can be lifted for a more cosy seating with your loved one... But others can't, so check with staff if your selected seats are the right ones for you. Enjoy!”

Overview
MCL Metro City Cinema sits inside Metro City Phase II, connected directly to Po Lam MTR station — one of the most transit-convenient cinema locations in the New Territories. Recent renovations have upgraded seating comfort and the acoustic system is notably loud. Staff are described as polite across multiple reviews. Sightline quality varies by theatre — Cinema 1 has minimal row-angle differentiation, meaning front-row heads can obstruct screen views in certain seats.
