1 / 4Island East Sports Centre
📍 Sai Wan Ho, Hong Kong Island
Large public sports centre in Sai Wan Ho offering an indoor swimming pool, climbing wall, table tennis, basketball, badminton, indoor golf practice bays, and a gym. Parking on-site. Cafe available.
The golf swing tutor works! It is extremely helpful to see your swing immediately. I’m not sure if the carry distance numbers are correct. But for HKD$10 an hour (senior citizen rate), It is a steal.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for active families who want to split time across multiple activities in a single venue without relocating. The swimming pool and climbing wall work well for children; the golf bays and table tennis suit adults and older kids. Families focused purely on swimming will find dedicated pool facilities more specialised.

“I played table tennis there for the first time. There are 4 tables. Quite spacious. It is a nice place. There is enough height, width and depth for each table. I don't mind playing there again. There are many other facilities including a gym, indoor lawn bowl, basket ball, wall climbing, volleyball, indoor golf, badminton, indoor swimming pool, etc. Food and beverages are available from the coffee shop which is not commonly found in public sports centers.”

“The golf room’s nets should be repaired. If you hit a stray ball or hit the ball too hard, its likely to bounce back and injure you. Otherwise for this price, its a good place to practice your swings.”

“Golf machine doesn't work and is aged. Still target 🎯 for golf practice. Not much challenge. 1 basket of golf balls (HK$16 per hour) and a golf club for rent.”
