1 / 3Grand Windsor Cinema
📍 Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island
Three compact cinema houses in Causeway Bay showing current releases. Seats recline slightly with adequate legroom and unobstructed sightlines between rows. Same-floor restaurants in the building. Air conditioning runs cold.
The location of the cinema was convenient. There were restaurants on the same floor. Besides, there were other eateries and shops in the building. There were 3 mini cinemas showing different movies. The back of each chair could move a bit for the guest to lean back. The leg room was enough. However, there was only one aisle between the unevenly designed columns of chairs. Air conditioning was too cold, too.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for Causeway Bay families seeking an affordable, low-key screening without travelling far. The smaller screen houses suit casual family film nights rather than big-event blockbuster viewings. Book directly at the box office if online confirmation proves unreliable.

“A small screen but good price. Seats are quite comfortable but makes a little squeaky sound if you move”
Dominic Nooney
“Seat was very comfortable, viewing angle was good. Screen was a bit small (house 3). Price was excellent for the time ($65 for an 11:40 Saturday morning show). 3/4*”
ManWai Yeung
“Saw movie here just before the current Covid enforced Cinema Shutdown. Comfortable seats recline slightly. There is enough height difference between rows that views of the screen are not obstructed. Screen quality is good, as is the the sound. Overall a pleasant viewing experience.”

Overview
Grand Windsor Cinema operates three small cinema houses in Causeway Bay, screening current releases at competitive prices. Seats recline slightly and row height differences mean sightlines are unobstructed throughout. Legroom is adequate. Screen size is smaller than large-format venues — House 3 in particular gets flagged as compact — and proportionate to the room. The building shares its floor with restaurants, making pre- or post-film dining walkable.
