Great climbing centre full of lots of routes and useful gym / training equipment. Reasonably priced for HK and has a fridge where you can buy any drinks you want. Friendly staff, too!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for children aged 8 and above with existing bouldering experience — the route grades skew technical and beginners will find the wall frustrating rather than encouraging. Older children and teens with intermediate skills will find the cave and overhanging section a genuinely challenging progression wall.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Bring water or buy from the on-site fridge — no café and drinks are available
The cave section rewards multiple attempts — allow session time specifically for it rather than treating it as one stop among many
🎟️Introduce children to bouldering at a beginner-focused gym first; Attic V's technical setting is a second or third venue rather than a first

It's a very small climbing gym but the route setting is really nice, with a focus on technical routes. Though there's a slight focus on slab and vertical climbs, there's still a really good amount of overhanging problems, and the cave is absolutely a must try as it goes really deep, so you'll spend at least 4-6 moves overhanging before you reach the face. Highly recommend. The staff don't seem friendly at first but they're actually nice. It's also one of the more affordable climbing gyms in Hong Kong, with day passes going at 150hkd compared to 200+ at Verm City and Just Climb (though they are much larger gyms).

Decent size climbing wall for HK. Great atmosphere. Nice range of climbs. I always have fun ☺️

Hi

Owner was really nice, great supportive atmosphere. The mats are in good condition and routes are clear and technical. Staff and the owner were really nice and helpful. Easily one of the best climbing gyms in HK as it is also very cheap and affordable. Had a great time definitely coming back here again!

Overview

Attic V's identity is built around route quality rather than floor space — the setting leans technical, with slab and vertical problems making up the majority of the wall alongside a substantial overhanging section. The cave is the gym's signature feature: it runs deep enough that climbers spend extended time working through sequences before emerging. Training equipment supplements the bouldering. A fridge of drinks handles in-session hydration.
