Kids had great fun here! There are swings, merry-go-around, sand pit, rope net, bomb beds, 4 different slides, tunnels, water etc.. It is very different from the simple playground in many places in HK. Besides, there is a small reptile house in the park.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

The best free outdoor playground in the New Territories for children under 12. The sand pit and water play zone alone justify the visit for toddlers and primary-school-age children. Arrive early on weekends — the site draws consistent crowds. Families combining this with the wider Tuen Mun Park get a full half-day out without spending a cent.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Bring a change of clothes and a towel — the water play zone gets children thoroughly wet on warm days
Pack sand toys — the large sand pit rewards extended play and children regularly spend hours in it
🎟️Arrive early on weekends to secure space at the most popular equipment before crowds build
🚗The small reptile house in the broader Tuen Mun Park is a short walk away — worth adding to the visit

The kids love the large sand pit, they played in it for almost 3 hours. The facilities were new. The design was modern and interesting.

This playground is a fantastic spot for children under 12, offering a diverse range of activities that keep them engaged for hours. The water play area is a standout feature, especially on hot days, and the sand pit provides a great sensory experience. The slides and climbing structures are well-maintained and cater to different age groups, ensuring there's something for everyone. However, it can get quite crowded, particularly on weekends and holidays, so arriving early is a good idea. The area

Nice playground with different things for kids to play. Many opportunities to climb and slide down. There is also a sand area and music area. There are security persons around and also a few to keep the playground clean. Although the playground is a bit older, it's still in a good condition.
