Morrison Hill Road Playground
📍 Morrison Hill, Hong Kong Island
Outdoor playground in Morrison Hill featuring a legacy 1980s paved skate circuit with flat sections, small ramps, a downhill run, and a banked corner. Free entry. 10-minute walk from Causeway Bay MTR.
My favourite skatepark of HK. Simple and smooth... It's usually pretty empty these days, but watch out for little kids cruising around carelessly during public holidays though, their parents could be busy with their mobile phones.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for children aged 5 and above learning wheeled sports — the progression from flat ground to ramps to banked downhill is a natural skill ladder. Beginners can work the flat sections indefinitely before committing to the downhill. Adults who skate will find it genuinely enjoyable.

“Excellent place to learn roller blade, skate board etc. The actually playground is small, the unique part is the paved section for rollers skateboard scooter. This is not a proper skate park, it would be good for learners to pick up some balancing skills.”

“Really a wonderful place for kids to learn to bike, skate, or scoot. Multiple flat areas for getting the hang of things, small ramps to learn how to go up and down hills, and a long downhill with a banked corner (a banked corner!) at the end once they get more confident.”

Overview
Morrison Hill Road Playground's signature feature is a 1980s-era paved skating circuit that has featured in international skate videos and hosted professional skateboarders. The track runs from flat beginner sections through small ramps to a downhill with a genuine banked corner — one of the only examples in a Hong Kong public playground. Kids on bikes, scooters, skateboards, and roller blades all use the circuit. The adjacent playground area is small.
