Full-sized ice rink in MegaBox, Kowloon Bay, offering public skating sessions and structured programs in figure skating, ice hockey, and synchronized skating from age 3 upward.
๐ Family Action Verdict
Best for children aged 3 and above starting out in figure skating or hockey within a structured program environment. Public sessions suit casual family skating, and the full-sized rink gives more room than smaller mall rinks. Experienced skaters should request freshly sharpened rental skates before hitting the ice.

โMy family came here to do figure ice-skating on a weekly basis from 2007-2014. Having passed an examination in 2009, I was so excited and delighted that I challenged my limit, resulting in a bad fall, breaking my right ankle. I relearned how to walk after three months and returned to the rink when I could dance again months later! Postscript On 16 March 2024, I came here, with my pet for the first time. Judging from her response to the action and sounds of ice hockey, she didnโt like it. I only did figure ice skating, but gone were the days.โ

โItโs very good ice-skating place. My child likes to play there but the problem is the cost of locker. We need to pay every time when we open and close it every time.โ

โIce rink is good but deducted two stars because the coaching fee is too high. 300$ for 30 mins and that too not really efficient coaches. Only one coach named Chris is really a good and an English speaking but barely available. Apart from that, other things are really nice but it will be really great if they provide reasonable coaching classes.โ

Overview
Mega Ice operates a full-sized rink within MegaBox mall, one of the largest skating facilities in Hong Kong. Structured programs cover figure skating, ice hockey, and synchronized skating, with coaching from professional instructors. Birthday party packages on ice are available. Locker costs are charged per open-and-close cycle rather than per session-a friction point for families with young children who need frequent locker access.
